I have been giving Mentorships and Classes for 5 Years, I always focused on putting the students on the job market.But the market changes everyday...once a position with a high salary and a lot of spots for everyone...now no jobs.

But what if YOU could change WITH the Market ? Not change your entire portfolio to increase your chances by 5%. BUT CHANGE JOBS! I have been applying this on my mentorships with extreme success so I decided to open an official one.

You will Learn EVERY Basic for EVERY Art Position. Drawing,Painting,2D Animation,3D Modeling,Design,Sequential Art,Engines,Storytelling,Technical Softwares and more.

So if a position is no longer a good one, you can change to other that will pay you well and treat you right!

Total Duration of the Mentorship ( Around 18 Months )

BUT, You CAN JUMP any terms that you don't want and NEW ones will be added. Payments will be done monthly like my "Regular" Mentorship.

We will start each session with a homework critique before moving on to the lecture. ( Guest Instructor Content WILL NOT have homework feedback)

Homework: There will be homework assigned every week based on the lecture material.

Mentorship Level: Recommended for beginning-intermediate/upper intermediate students. Experience in any of those areas is recommended but not required.

Mentorship Format:

The mentorship will be live via google hangouts and will run for 4 weeks, 1 session per week, during 50 minutes. You can renew the mentorship every 4 weeks and you can decide when to stop.

3 - Design Fundamentals ( You will Learn, basics of Design that can work for any Design position ) ( Example : Big,Med,Small )

4 - ( Guest Instructor Recorded ) Intro Concept Art for Collectibles and Action Figure ( You will learn how to do Concepts for Collectibles )

5 - Concept Art Fundamentals ( You will learn Concept Art Fundamentals,like characters,shape design,props etc.)

6 - Intro 2D Animations ( Frame by Frame ) ( You will learn Animate and How to do frame by frame animation )

7 - Intro UI Art ( You will learn Basic UI art assets )

8 - Intro Sequential Art ( Webtoon and Manga) ( You will learn how to do stories,panels,composition, acting for characters and Clip studio )

9 - Intro 3D Modeling ( You will Learn Blender Basics )

10 - Intro Engines ( Mostly UE ) ( You will mess and learn a little about engines )

11 - Intro Real-Time VFX ( You will understand how 2D and 3D VFX work and Learn the basics for 3D VFX )

12 - Intro Illustration ( You will learn composition,render,thumbnails and types of illustration )

13 - Intro Tattoos ( Guest Instructor Recorded ) ( You will understand the market for Tattoos and How to become a Tattoo Artist )

14 - Intro Spine/Spline Animation ( You will get an intro to the software )

15 - Anatomy Intensive ( You will learn the human anatomy with detail )

16 - How to use "Hack" softwares ( You will learn how to use Daz 3D,Clip Studio 3D,Photobashing and Softwares to assist your art )

17 - Overview of Positions in Game and Animation. And ways to monetize your work without a studio.

18 - How to Get Hired ( Making a CV,Networking and how to pass interviews )

PORTFOLIO PROJECT FOR A PARTICULAR POSITION

19 - Choose your position,sending student to the trade school for that position or helping finding free/cheap alternatives aka Youtube/Gumroad )

20 - Extra Guidance for 2 Months to help the student in the new trade + Find a Job

About the Instructor :

William Avellar works as a Art/Game Recruiter ( Former Principal/Senior Character Concept Artist for 8+ Years ) for the video game industry and also has worked as a Freelance Art Director for companies in his home country. But his true passion is teaching, he has a large experience as a teacher, giving private mentorships on color and light for almost 6 years. He was also a teacher at the online art school "Art Dojo" where he taught digital painting classes.
